Esri is the software developer for ArcGIS, a powerful mapping and spatial analytics software. ArcGIS combines mapping and data analytics to reveal a deeper insight into data. ArcGIS major features are spatial analysis, mapping & visualization, 3D GIS, Real-time GIS, Imagery & Remote sensing, and Data collection & management. ArcGIS spatial analysis helps you make more informed decisions about the best locations and paths using interactive, high-quality cartographic maps that you can easily create using drag-and-drop widgets. ArcGIS lets you combine your data with publicly available data or live data feeds to help you discover and understand relationships, patterns, and trends. ArcGIS has an in-built interactive 3D web app built using ArcGIS API for JavaScript. It can be used to discover, create and share 3D information about the world. ArcGIS gives you the power to collect, process, analyze, manage, and share imagery using its advanced imagery and remote sensing platform. You can use it find patterns and unlock data using imagery and raster analysis tools created to accommodate satellites, aerial technology, drones, full-motion video, elevation and lidar. It can handle overlapping, time-variant, and multi-resolution imagery from multiple sources, formats, or projections. You can process imagery with ArcGIS software tools and apps designed to speed up sync, and simplify your work with ortho-maps, dynamic mosaics, and 3D meshes. ArcGIS gives you the flexibility to store, edit, and manage data in a way that fits and optimizes your workflows. ArcGIS supports many data formats and can make direct connections to various Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Data can be stored in the Esri cloud with ArcGIS Online or on your own personal clod structure. ArcGIS can be deployed on the Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, IBM Softlayer, and VCE cloud platforms. ArcGIS is helping organizations create positive change in industry and society.
