Apptivo’s customer relationship management (CRM) applications provide modules for contact management, lead management, opportunity management and customer service ticket management.

While it offers all of the functionality available in higher cost products, such as Salesforce, it is possible to customize the software to match company’s precise needs, adding and removing functionality as the business changes and grows. It's this flexibility that makes Apptivo a one-stop solution for just about any organization, regardless of the size.

Apptivo has upgraded its built-in CRM app capabilities, adding new tools called triggers to build custom workflow automation rules for any given app. Rules can be based on specific events, or by detecting events over time. The sales apps also include added tooling for managing multiple sales pipelines, and the ability to define built-in logic to control when deals can move to the next stage.

Apptivo has enhanced spam control, scheduling, and the template editor. It also has dynamic target lists, with which users can set up criteria to automatically add or remove CRM records from marketing lists as they are created or updated. Apptivo has improved the platform's security management, adding more granular security control.

Beyond controlling the data, reports, and access to fields, Apptivo offers control over searching capability, and over all of the individual actions inside of the app. This gives users the ability to restrict access to performing bulk actions, deleting records, emailing contacts, viewing notes, and importing or exporting contact data. Apptivo integrates with Google G Suite, Dropbox and WordPress, and also with Microsoft OneDrive and RingCentral.

The RingCentral integration gives users the ability to automatically have calls logged into the CRM with corresponding contacts, and conversely, the ability to make an outbound call by clicking a contact's phone number.
