Analog C:Amie Edition was created by Stephen Turner in 1995 as a multi-purpose, multi-platform log file analyzer. As a long-term user of Analog and in light of the release of Windows Vista that could not be identified by Analog, C:Amie has undertaken to maintain Analog and to keep its detection current. It is freeware, released as open source under the terms of the GPL also provided for Windows (32-bit) and is pre-compiled for Debian and more recently OS X (Intel), but the source code is also available for other platforms. This platform contains the binaries and a small number of optimization’s however the fundamental functionality is identical. Users can use this platform to generate live statistics for inclusion on web pages. For example most users will either generate the HTML output for display or Computer output for piping into ReportMagic when configuring Analog. However there are other options for the structure of the data export as originally implemented by Stephen Turner. One of them allows the export of statistics into XML which users can use to parse for live statistical data and ultimately include on a web page. Analog C: Amie Edition can provide automatic statistics on a multi-site production IIS 4.0,5.0,5.1,6.0,7.0,7.5,8.0 web server. System requirements needed: Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 2000 Professionals, Windows XP, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server etc. Using this program users can automate the creation of an Analog C:Amie Edition configuration file for web site log analysis. Providing some basic details of a website, users can get basic Analog C:Amie Edition Config File without having to edit the sample config, also the scriptlet enables all reports and charts, sets up default dynamic scripting page patterns etc, but it doesn’t configure Report Magic and all possible Analog configuration options.
