Admidio is a free and open source user management system for websites owned by organizations and groups. Admidio uses a flexible type of a role model system that enables it to reflect the structure and permission of a user’s organization or group.

Admidio provides a good platform for creation of individual profiles for members in a group or organization by adding or removing fields. Admidio contains several modules that provide a good platform for managing systems owned by organizations or groups. Some of the modules include; event manager, member lists, guestbook, photo album and download area.

Admidio provides free tools for organizations that facilitate managing of user’s organization by using the several features provided. Admidio provides a good platform for webmasters for maintaining their organization, association or group and in need of using a membership management that includes access control. The access control featured by Admidio provides a good platform for users to protect their member data from access by unauthorized persons.

This is essential as it facilitates the confidentiality level of member’s data is maintained. The lists product provides a free and good platform for configuration of member lists. The configured member list enables exportation to different file types such as Excel and PDF. Admidio also facilitates creation of events by using the events feature. The events feature also provides the users with the possibility to cancel or commit to the created events. Admidio provides a photo gallery that facilitates uploading, managing, and viewing of photos and albums.
