It offers you a free open source desktop solution to cater for your business needs. It’s advantageous to your business in that it provides a balanced small business and corporate project management system for project managers, multiple teams and one team projects. 2-plan has an approach that is customer-driven and that includes frequent upgrades to start you onboard for free.
It’s the first balanced corporate and small business project management system for project managers, one team projects, and multiple teams. It enables you to assign work packages to persons, teams or roles. It mainly focuses on knowledge professionals’ teamwork. 2-plan uses a top-down planning approach where you have to figure out the grand scope of your project as you work downwards to add details.
With 2-plan you are able to freely use Graphical Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), quickly scheduling your project by creating work packages, allocating resources and defining dependencies. 2-plan offers you a customized screen layout that helps you choose the features that you use the most. You will also benefit from a click-and-drag functionality within the Gantt chart directly.
With 2-plan, when you need to create tasks, milestones, work packages and timelines together with coworkers it’s quite easy even if you are a novice user. If you use 2-plan Team version, you will be able to have your teams to record the time they have spent on tasks, enter estimated remaining time, share files, and also update the project status online from your smartphone.
