Built with Go, extensible with virtually any other language via data streams and a RESTful API and supports both SQL and NoSQL databases. The customizable dashboard can accommodate the visualization of any data with widgets.Social Harvest is an open-source social media analytics and monitoring tool. It's goal is to help provide insight for social media for individuals and small businesses. It is not designed as an enterprise tool; however, there is nothing preventing the enterprise from finding value within it.One of the primary focuses of this tool is cost effective hosting. Parts of this application can be pulled out and executed separately on a variety of hosting providers, but the "microservices" are designed to run under Amazon Web Services (AWS). Social Harvest Dashboard is a dashboard for Social Harvest, an open-source social media analytics platform.This application uses AngularJS, D3.js, and NVD3 to create a modular and extensible dashboard for analyzing harvested social media data.Social Harvest is a scalable and flexible open-source social media analytics platform.There are three parts to the platform. This harvester, a reporter API, and the Social Harvest Dashboard for front-end visualizations and reporting through a web browser.This application (harvester) gathers data from Twitter, Facebook, etc. using Go and concurrently stores to a variety of data stores. Social Harvest also logs to disk and those log files can be used by programs like Fluentd for additional flexibility in your data store and workflow.
