icCube is an in-memory multidimensional online analytical processing (OLAP) server written in Java. icCube is a high end BI solution covering ETL, Advanced Analysis (MDX+) and Reporting. A high-performance and real-time Analytical Server with an ETL layer is designed for Big Data and supporting for multidimensional analysis and MDX+ standards.
Interactive Dasboards Run on all modern browsers and they are pure HTML5 based (HTML/JS). icCube is designed to integrate into an OEM or Enterprise architecture. It’s a single Java process with a modular design. All access is accomplished through a thin client User Interface. It supports ad-hoc on the fly authentication and authorization.
Volume limitation of icCube is driven by memory limits on a computer but within those limits, the performance of icCube is exceptional even when doing complex analytics with high dimensionality. icCube can integrate from a wide spectrum of data sources from CSV files, relational databases and Excel files to not so traditional ones. icCube supports incremental load while the analytics users query the OLAP cube with a switching time in the order of the millisecond ensuring the end user experience is smooth.
Many queries respond under the second even with several hundred of millions of facts. In order to further ensure linear response times, when natural partitions exist in the data, icCube can be configured to use information as a partitioning key making to speed up the most frequent queries. icCube can be setup as a redundant solution, can handle huge numbers of rows, and has an advanced analytical query language (MDX+). MDX is a standard multidimensional language with many available documentation and support.
