CppCMS

CppCMS is a high performance web development framework (not CMS) aimed at rapid web application development. It is designed and tuned to handle extremely high loads while developing both Web Sites and Web Services. It uses modern C++ as the primary development language in order to achieve the first goal.

When the process of scale-up becomes to painful to do it with common web frameworks CppCMS allows the user to increase their performance by an order of magnitude.

Consequently, it helps the user remove the requirement of maintaining a big server farm, where a few servers, or even single one, would solve the load problems and reduce maintenance cost and power consumption.

To avoid crashes, buffer overflows and memory leaks, this framework has Smart pointers, STL, Boost and similar tools that allow the user to write safe code easily and fast. Thus, it lets the user work freely on the application’s business logic instead of the low level issues, as CppCMS has already taken care of it.It is available under open source LGPLv3 license and alternative Commercial License for users who needs an alternative license for proprietary software development.
